Susan's primary professional training included a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Western Ontario in 1991, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Ottawa in 1976.

In 2006-2007, Susan recently completed a year-long training program in sensorimotor psychotherapy (conducted over eight weekends), sponsored by the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute (www.sensorimotorpsychotherapy.org) based in Boulder, Colorado.

Susan also participates in ongoing peer review and clinical supervision of her practice.
